These are compromised constantly, for every person, every day. At EKO, we specialize in class action cases pertaining to consumer protection, privacy & cybersecurity, workers’ rights, financial fraud, crypto schemes and sexual abuse. Read on to see how we can rep you.

Consumer Protection

+Get what you paid for.

False advertising is real. So are sheisty deals, bait-and-switch schemes, and straight-up harmful products. This lack of honesty in the marketplace not only hurts consumers, it hurts their families and the legitimate companies that jump through all the hoops to play by the rules.

Consumer protection class actions are designed to create a safer, more honest, and more transparent marketplace—so you know where your money goes, and you get what you pay for. If you’ve been wronged by dishonest consumer product claims or shady practices, EKO is here to help.

Privacy & Cybersecurity

+Control your identity, user data, and online activity.

“Accept cookies,” “Sign up for a weekly newsletter,” “Subscribe to marketing messages.” Whether you say yes or no, companies that collect your data have an obligation to keep it safe. State and federal privacy laws impose strict penalties against companies that unintentionally release user data through poor security. And privacy laws set super specific standards for how companies can collect personal data, what they can collect, and how they can use it.

EKO prosecutes both data breach cases and cases involving the illegal collection and sale of customers' private data. So if your I.D. or personal data has been compromised, please reach out.

Crypto Schemes

+Lay down the law where it doesn’t yet exist.

Crypto is the wild west of investing. It’s virtual. It’s money. It’s security. It’s regulated. It’s none of the above. Because its use and value are so open to interpretation, they’re also open to scrutiny. That’s where EKO comes in.

We represent those who have financially suffered from manipulation and deception in the crypto market. We force the big questions that need to be considered right now: How do century-old regulations apply to digital markets? Who is responsible when so-called stablecoins lose their stability? What are investors' rights when the market is turned upside down by a single tweet? Our goal is to garner thoughtful answers and maybe even inspire new laws to protect the masses, and not just the privileged few. And to get you compensated in the process, of course.

Workers' Rights

+Right the wrongs in the workplace.

Not everyone is paid a fair working wage, given decent working conditions, or properly classified for the work they do.

EKO is here to represent. Whether you’ve been misclassified as an independent contractor in the gig economy, underpaid, or denied your rights, EKO will go hard to get you the cash, conditions, and perks you’re owed.

Financial Fraud

+Hit back.

Hidden fees. Misleading statements. Deceptive acts. Flat-out false claims. With the ever-changing landscape of financial regulations, rapid advancements in fintech, and deception rife in investment, it’s hard to keep up with the legality of certain financial practices. But this consumer confusion is exactly what many institutions, products, and investors bank on.

EKO knows that not everyone can afford a financial advisor or personal lawyer to guide their money moves. That’s why we confront financial fraud head-on to protect the way the masses borrow, pay, manage, invest, or sell their assets.

Sexual Abuse

+Take back your power.

Sexual abuse is widespread and wide-ranging. It can take the form of unwelcome verbal comments or gestures. It can show up as unfair, sexualized power dynamics at school or work. And it can manifest physically as inappropriate touching, assault, or rape.

EKO is here to serve, support, and speak out for survivors of abuse. We go after serial perpetrators, seeking monetary compensation for past and future medical treatment for survivors—including therapy, damages for pain and suffering, and equitable relief to ensure no one else suffers the same abuse moving forward.
