Julie Erickson, a partner and trial lawyer at EKO Law, has been named 2020's Outstanding New Lawyer by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association ("SFTLA"). The award recognizes SFTLA members in practice seven years or less who demonstrate leadership, achievement, vision, professionalism and service within the San Francisco plaintiff’s bar.
Per the award's nomination materials, "we want to recognize those new lawyers who work tirelessly, whether in front of the jury or behind the scenes to advocate for their clients, make positive change in the community, make contributions to the legal community and new lawyers in particular, and demonstrate professionalism and integrity while doing so."
Ms. Erickson has demonstrated successes throughout her career through settlements, arbitration awards, trials, and contributing to the good fight. She was presented with the award at the SFTLA New Lawyers Division "Adventure Conference" on October 16, 2020.
